FIRST FRIDAY @ INDYINK Sandi Calistro! 12-05-2008 Sandi Calistro was raised by a pack of mountain lions. She was discovered by the lions lying lifelessly on a rock after she had been thrown from a raft by her own family while white water rafting at the age of 2 ½. She learned to become a fierce hunter, although her pack could not understand her love for creating cave paintings using her own fecal matter and the blood from her prey. Her pack could not abide her strange ways, and they soon abandoned her. Left to her own devices, Sandi's cave paintings gradually evolved into acrylic paintings on wood inspired by ummmmmmm raarrrrrrrrrr. When Sandi finally learned to speak English, she started tattooing at Twisted Sol. In her spare time she paints illustration style art.

First Friday with Delton Demarest at INDYINK! Incredible spray painted portraits, come and check the can control. As always DJ Gatsby spinnin and refreshments so bring the crew.

8pm on October 31st show up in costume with your pumpkin. You can carve it, paint it, bedazzle it, or decorate it any way you want. No cost to enter the pumpkins will be judged at 11. top 3 win prizes, to keep with the holiday they are all candy in different amounts. Free beer, candy, Dj Gatsby will be spinning some spooky music, and you can slap Huth if you feel like it!

After you check out our show, head on down to our neighbor Rock the Cradle this first Friday to see new works from INDYINK artist Aaron Cohrs. Affordable prints and clothing, great christmas gifts! "You know for Kids!"

Plastisol Free 4 All was awesome! Thanks to all who came down! The bands were amazing, The Dendrites, Action Packed Thrill Ride, Babah Wird, The Allergies, We Are We Are, The Knew, The Rouge, The Messengers, Tyler Snow, Ian Cooke. All of the bands a worth seeing so feel confident to invite your friends to go see a show. Special thanks to Sid Pink for being the MC, Tran from Fabric Lab for putting together the amazing fashion show, and all our sponsors. We couldn't of asked for better bands, entries, artists, sponsors or crowd, thanks to everyone who helped make it possible. The winning designs are posted below over 500 ballots were cast! It was a close race and 2 entries actually tied for 3rd place. If you are a winner come on down and get your check and let us know what 10 items you would like your design printed on.


After you go to the Plastisol Free for All on the 7th, don't forget we still have a new artist this month. MOEH is breakin it down on the 12th with some brand new techniques!
